DWS Public Dialogue

As one of the world's leading asset managers and a fiduciary partner for our clients, DWS aims to be a trusted and responsible partner for decision-making in public institutions. Transparent dialogue with decision-makers plays a central role in this. We regularly take part in public consultations on legislative projects and publish our views on current and social issues in statements.

Governmental or supranational regulations refer to the laws and regulations issued by governments or public authorities. These are mandatory and must be complied with by all. Voluntary self-regulation refers to rules and procedures developed by companies or industry associations themselves to establish certain standards or codes of conduct.

In dialogue with all these stakeholders, DWS is advocating for open, competitive financial markets and an enabling fund industry that can provide capital for a more sustainable society. DWS Group has made entries in official transparency registers, such as the EU Transparency Register and the German Lobbying Register.

Below you can find our contributions and statements since 2021 on public and regulatory consultations conducted by legislators and regulators as well as international standard setters.
