The General Partner has the sole responsibility for the management of DWS KGaA, including all management measures. The General Partner is acting through its Managing Directors (Geschäftsführer), who collectively are referred to as the Executive Board of DWS KGaA. The Executive Board manages the day-to-day business and represents DWS KGaA vis-à-vis third parties.
The Managing Directors of the General Partner are appointed and dismissed by resolution of the shareholders’ meeting of General Partner, which also has the authority to appoint one of them as the chairman, i.e. the CEO.
